Artist, Coach, Speakers
Rübezahl
A sound artist, electronic musician, and instrument inventor from Germany, currently based in Hualien, Taiwan. In recent years, he has been actively involved in theatre collaborations and has hosted numerous experimental sound workshops, promoting DIY electronic instruments.
His performances feature a mix of self-built and modified devices, along with curious bamboo flutes—and even music made from a Gameboy. An improviser at heart, he constantly explores new sonic frontiers.
A passionate traveller, he cycled from Germany to Taiwan in 2018 with a companion, performing and hosting cultural exchanges along the way. During an artist residency in Iran, they created instruments from bicycle parts and exhibited the works in a public park in Tehran. His practice blurs the line between music and installation, focusing on audience interaction, analog electronics, and the physicality of sound.
Chimerik
Chimerik is an interdisciplinary media collective specialising in live performance software Isadora, with a portfolio spanning over 500 projects across dance, theatre, installation, and interactive media. Their works have been featured at Art Night Venezia (Venice Biennale), Documenta 15, ISEA, Taipei Digital Art Festival, Tokyo Performing Arts Meeting (TPAM), and more. They have collaborated with companies such as Arts Club, Stratford
Festival, BeijingDance/LDTX, Wen Wei Dance, and have created visual and interactive experiences for brands like NIKE, Microsoft, BenQ, and Google.

About Hengchun
1.Traffic in general is quite chaotic in the main town, be triple cautious before crossing roads.
(Sadly, pedestrians are not considered as first priority)
2.Best moving in Hengchun town is walking or rent a bike.
You might want to download Ubike app to rent a public bike.
3.Most beach areas are in average 10-20mins away from Hengchun Main Town.(by scooter and car)You could rent a scooter/ car here for better mobility.
